An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the revenue team in a newly created, lead role as

Assistant Head of Revenue for Malmaison & Hotel du Vin.

The Assistant Head of Revenue is a highly persuasive and influential commercial leader, responsible for the commercial revenue and pricing strategy framework across their brand to ensure optimisation of rooms revenue, drive total revenue delivery and ultimately support improved profitability. We are looking for someone with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, further contributing to our position as a leading revenue team within the hospitality industry.

This role would suit someone in a Regional / Area Cluster Revenue Manager role looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to the Head of Revenue, the Assistant Head of Revenue plays a pivotal role in supporting the execution of the revenue strategy, optimising distribution channels, market performance and driving commercial success across Malmaison & Hotel du Vin. They support in implementing the commercial revenue and pricing strategy framework, ensuring revenue optimisation, total revenue growth and improved profitability.

The Assistant Head of Revenue is responsible for identifying business shortfalls, risks and opportunities and collaborating with the Cluster Revenue managers/executives and other key stakeholders to implement data driven actions that maximise revenue potential. They support the development and execution of revenue management processes across the portfolio, ensuring top-line revenue growth whilst maintaining a focus on profitability.

A key aspect of the Assistant Head of Revenue’s role is fostering strong relationships with the Cluster Revenue Mangers/ Executives, ensuring compliance with established revenue management processes, developing training and development opportunities and monitoring key revenue objectives and performance measures.

The Assistant Head of Revenue works closely with other key stakeholders, maintaining strong commercial relationships to drive alignment and success.

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrable experience in revenue management, distribution, and reservations within various multi-site hotel environments at senior regional revenue management or above.
  • Proficiency with revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and distribution channel management tools.
  • Experience with Opera property management system and Duetto revenue management system would be advantageous.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful revenue strategies and optimising distribution channels.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving hotel performance through an action led, dynamic & innovative culture.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Significant experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, driving a hospitality leading culture of excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, time efficient and able to work independently to drive commercial outperformance
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Success orientated & continually striving for the best commercial outcome at hotel and brand level
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to demonstrate strong resilience & work under pressure.
