You will assist the Contract Manager and Cleaning Manager with the day-to-day delivery of a cleaning service of the unit. Also manage where possible all areas of costs in accordance with instructions given, working within the cost limits and resources agreed between the Client and Sodexo. *   This is a hands on working supervisor position.
*   Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other related materials.
*   Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines.
*   Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, to address specialised cleaning needs and resolve any facility-related issues promptly.
*   Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity while maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
*   Provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors, responding promptly and effectively to cleanliness-related concerns or inquiries.
*   To be responsible and assist all day-to-day aspects relating to the management and maintenance of the cleaning service within the contract specification.
*   To provide a cleaning service to the agreed standards in accordance with the Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators specified in the service contract.
*   To actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site HEALTH AND SAFETY compliance together with the monitoring of related equipment
*   Full working knowledge of the areas in the buildings which are covered by the services run by Sodexo
*   Ensure that the safety signage is used appropriately at all times, e.g., wet floor signs and ‘warn’ customers where possible.
*   Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance and general cleanliness to comply with statutory and Company regulations, wearing company uniform as specified.
*   To advise Cleaning Manager of chemicals that are required.
*   Control the issue and usage of cleaning materials.
*   To carry out x 1 Safety walk per month and complete near miss reporting.
*   Be aware of the condition of the equipment, organise repairs/replacements as appropriate with the Cleaning Manager. Assist the Cleaning Manager in ensure that all equipment is in safe working order, checked regularly and serviced. Report any faults to Cleaning Manager to ensure they are rectified and ensure equipment is not used until safe.
*   Maintain up to date knowledge of all chemicals in use and training in COSHH Regulations
*   Comply with all Sodexo Company policies/procedures and client site rules and regulations.
*   Comply with all Company and Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health and Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your workplace.
*   Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service, which Sodexo provide.
*   Report any customer complaints or compliments and take remedial action if possible.
*   Report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate.
*   Cover in other areas during periods of holidays and sickness when requested by the Line Manager
*   Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by management.
*   Comply with all Company and client policies, procedures and statutory regulations, including human resources, site rules, health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your workplace.

School Cleaning Supervisor

**About This RoleBusiness Unit Overview:** A qualified accountant is required to join the Compensation Accounting team in Edinburgh. BlackRock Finance & Strategy consists of Finance professionals in disciplines such as Tax, Business Finance, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, Accounting Operations and Corporate Accounting. The Global Compensation Accounting team forms part of the Finance Controllers team and consists of five hubs based in Princeton, NYC, Edinburgh, Belgrade and Tokyo. The team is responsible for recording all expense related to compensation and benefits in the financial records of BlackRock, comprising around 50% of BlackRock’s cost base. **Job Purpose/Background** This is an Associate position based in Edinburgh. The Compensation Accounting Associate will be responsible for supporting the team across all areas of compensation accounting. The individual will also have regular interactions with other Finance teams globally, as well as various other internal stakeholders such as HR Payroll, Legal Entity Controllers, FP&A and external auditors. *   Working as an integral part of the Compensation Accounting team in Edinburgh.
*   Ensure compensation expense is recorded properly in accordance with GAAP.
*   Responsible for preparing balance sheet reconciliations and subsequent certification of the balance sheet
*   Prepare and present commentary to stakeholders on the P&L and balance sheet movements each month

The Role:

The People Advisor will work with the People Business Partner to deliver tactical solutions to people needs, implement and advise on people policies, ensuring they are implemented consistently throughout the Company. The People Advisor will support the People Business Partner in the delivery of strategic projects as well as building relationships with key stakeholders and leaders within their designated business area.
