Operations Shift ManagerAre you experienced in driving operational efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?Do you have extensive experience as a production manager within consumer manufacturing?Are you an organised leader with people and process at the forefront of your mind?

MacGregor Black is partnering with a Food Manufacturing Business on the search for a Shift Operations Manager. This is a perm role based in Wakefield.Key Responsibilities:

• Drive performance of your team and support functions to deliver efficiency.
• Seek out new and innovative ways to deal with production issues, utilizing CI techniques.
• Ensure compliance to all site Health and Safety Regulations
• Execute the shift training plan to improve performance / flexibility and organise any additional training through gap analysis that may be required.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 3 years managing teams within a complex production environment e.g. multiple SKUs, product changeovers, packaging variants etc.
• Understands how KPIs are developed, and a track record of achieving results and ‘raising the bar’.Must be familiar with Production Performance Measurements.
• Strong management skills and an ability to operate and make decisions under pressure, whilst having your team at the forefront of your mind. Must be people orientated.
• Vast experience of CI within manufacturing.

Salary Up to £50k + Package
