As a Customer Service Advisor you’ll handle inbound and outbound customer interactions, resolving queries, providing product support, and promoting relevant sales opportunities. Your day involves responding to calls, emails, and addressing billing issues, troubleshooting problems, and upselling services where appropriate. Success in this role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to turn inquiries into positive customer experiences. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, balancing service excellence with sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with the management of specified accounts
  • Support team to achieve set KPIs in order to achieve team and company goals
  • Follow up on sales enquiries from allocated customer portfolio and prepare sales quotes/proposals
  • Cross-sell and up-sell Klinger products within your customer portfolio
  • Ensure on time delivery targets are met for your customers including efficient and effective communication and response times
  • Route customer complaints to the appropriate department (Quality Control)
  • Regularly update customer details on BC365, including Sales, Procurement, Engineering and Asset Management contacts
  • Build rapport with clients efficiently and professionally to obtain relevant market information
  • Engage in and contribute to continuous improvement activities within the department
  • Provide support and cover to team members when necessary

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience within Customer Service/Sales role is essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across other departments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
  • Experience within Manufacturing business desirable but not essential
