Finance Business Partner

Your New Company Hays Senior Finance are partnered with a Retail and Consumer Goods business in Glasgow. With over 30 years' experience in the sector, our client has an impressive story to tell, from its inception to its current state as a 70 million-dollar business. As part of its significant growth trajectory, our client is looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner initially for an interim period of 6 months. You will be joining at a time of exciting change and development, working within a commercial environment and reporting to the Financial Controller. You will be offered a daily rate of £250 within a hybrid working model and the potential for a permanent post as part of the wider growth plans. Your new role The Finance business partner will join an established finance team where you will work hand in hand with the operations team. You will provide detailed financial planning and analysis insight into the business with tools and techniques to enhance business performance. You will work with the management team to bring the numbers to life and provide guidance and recommendations which you will support in implementing. The Finance Business partner will have an eye on cost management, budget and spending and will provide meaningful analysis and commentary on management accounting practices. Utilising advanced excel and analysis skills to highlight trends and variances to enhance performance, you will play a critical role in forward planning to support the business moving ahead. What You'll Need To Succeed You will be an experienced Accountant with extensive finance partnering, planning and analysis experience. You will be qualified professionally or with suitable experience and have a natural ability to build relationships. This role will start upon a successful interview.
