Full Stack Software Developer

FULL STACK SOFTWARE DEVELOPER AxiaMetrics is currently supporting an IT company that provides a comprehensive and fully integrated suite of web based software - “Software as a Service” (SaaS) to Property Management companies and Managing Agents. The company is growing its market share and expanding the breadth of services and functionality that it is offering. It is because of this growth that the business is now recruiting within the Tech team! THE ROLE The company is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer who will be working across the business in helping develop software solutions and play a key role in supporting the existing web system and assisting with its ongoing development using technical knowledge and coding ability coupled with practical business experience to help support the company’s growth plans. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key contributor to the success of the business! The role will be primarily based working from home. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Working closely with the Product Managers and the CTO to develop and write applications aligned with the business strategy.
• Undertake technical design, coding, unit and system testing and deployment of solutions, including database SQL and application design.
• Provide technical consulting expertise where required.
• Develop and maintain full stack features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with product managers and other developers
• Contribute to improvements in DevOps, CI/CD, and containerised workflows
• Assist in mobile app development as we expand cross-platform support
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues

Requirements

• Experience coding, testing and implementing SaaS highly available, scalable, secure and multi-tenant applications including experience of the design process and project management.
• Experience with PHP, especially CodeIgniter and Slim
• Strong skills in React.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid understanding of MySQL and database optimisation
• Competence in HTML and CSS for responsive UI
• Familiarity with GitLab and Docker
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Strong understanding of the following TECH STACK
• Backend: PHP (CodeIgniter 3 / Slim 4), MySQL
• Frontend: React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Mobile (desirable): React Native
• Tooling: GitLab, Docker, CI/CD Pipelines
• Infrastructure: Infrastructure as Code solutions (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
