At Saltaire Brewery, we are passionate about brewing exceptional beer and providing a welcoming and lively atmosphere for our customers at our Tap Rooms. We take pride in delivering outstanding service, great events, and a fantastic range of craft beers. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team and help drive the success of our Tap Rooms.

As Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Tap Rooms Manager in the day-to-day running of the venue, ensuring smooth operations, outstanding customer service, and an excellent guest experience. You will be hands-on, leading by example, and motivating the team to maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of the Tap Rooms' daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Lead and motivate a team of bar staff, ensuring high performance and positive team morale.
  • Support with staff training, development, and shift scheduling.
  • Maintain stock control, ordering, and cellar management to ensure the best quality of beer service.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Help plan and deliver events, promotions, and brewery-led experiences.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Cash handling, banking, and financial reporting.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role, preferably in a bar, pub, or brewery environment.

A passion for craft beer and a willingness to develop beer knowledge.

Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach.

A customer-focused mindset with the ability to create a welcoming and friendly environment.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Experience in stock control and cellar management is desirable.
