The salary for this role is £40,000 - £45,000.

As a Management Accountant at LI, you will be responsible for providing accurate financial information, conducting financial analysis enabling senior management in decision-making and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. This service will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to ensure the company's financial health and contribute to its overall success.

The day-to-day activities of this role will involve looking over the business's accounts, invoices, working on payroll and accounts payables, giving the successful candidate a well-rounded accountancy exposure.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include{​{:}

}* Working in collaboration with LI's People Services to deliver business payroll function, using LI payroll system Xero Payrol l* Ensuring timely and accurate submission of PAYE and pension contribution return s* Responding to employee queries and payroll related issues in a timely manne r* Keeping up to date with changes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and legislatio n* Preparation of VAT returns 

• Using the Xero bookkeeping system to analyse and report on business financial progress enabling senior management decision makin g* Balance sheet reconciliation s* Supporting month-end and year-end close process
• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
• Performing other financial duties as assigned by managemen t

}* } Proficient experience of using finance and payroll software i.e. Xe r* o Experience of using MS Office Produc t* s Previous experience in delivering payroll for small/medium size busines s* Strong knowledge and experience in bookkeeping and supporting non-finance colleagu e* s Good database management skills with experience of drawing data from systems and excel to generate repor t* s Strong analytical skills to review and assess business financial need s* Brilliant attention to deta i* l Ability to pull data from various sources and present financial analysis allowing the team to review real-time financial insigh t* s Confidence in analysing key financial information to provide feedback to aid managerial planning and commercial decision making that will ensure future growth and value for money for LI Ltd.  

   Qualification

• s Professional qualification such as AAT, CIPP, CIMA or similar is required.
