About The RolePurpose To prepare the monthly management accounts accurately and on time, with a focus on opex. Duties

• Oversee and assist with preparing monthly management accounts to agreed deadline
• Perform monthly review of accounting results with management accountant and assistant management accountant
• Prepare meaningful commentaries on monthly variance analysis, taking full ownership for the P&L
• Lead and support a team of two: Management Accountant and Assistant Management Accountant
• Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
• Assist with Balance Sheet reviews and reporting as required
• Assist with systems implementation and internal control processes
• Support the annual budget process

Skills And Experience

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong excel spreadsheet skills
• Use of SAGE accounting system preferred but not essential
• Proactive approach to resolving queries
• Strong collaborative style
• Experience of working in industry & commerce
